Ballymena Borough Council 2013 Bursaries are announced

To encourage talented young people two £500 Arts Bursaries will be awarded to local young people from the Borough of Ballymena practicing or studying an art form ranging from music to visual arts. These awards are designed to assist the winners to progress their art form, whether in the purchase of new equipment or instruments or the attendance at special training schools or tuition fees. One bursary will be awarded in the 11-15 years section and one bursary will be awarded in the 16-21 years section.

Student Exchange Bursaries 2013
Ballymena Borough Council is offering two local students a travel Bursary to spend a week in Morehead, Kentucky, Sister City to Ballymena in August 2013.
The two students will travel to Kentucky and experience life and studies in the USA.
Students must be born or resident in the Borough of Ballymena and can be studying in Tourism, Arts, Events Management or Business Development at any University anywhere in the UK.
Age range 18-22 years at time of application.
