Saturday April 4th is Love your museum day at The Braid!
Your presence and enthusiasm will help make the day a big success.
In honour of the Braid making the long list for the 2009 Art Fund Prize for museums and galleries, we've arranged a special day of events, tours and programmes for the whole family. This is the first time a museum in Northern Ireland has been listed for this prestigious award and we want everyone to join in the celebrations! The 2009 prize up for grabs is £100,000 - please help us to win by visiting the Art Fund Prize website and tell them what you think of The Braid.

The day's events include:
* Living history and medieval weapons demonstrations by The Kights of the Redemption
* Special curatorial tours of the galleries
* Face Painting outside the shop between 12.00 mid-day to 2.00pm
* Music in The Braid Cafe between 12.00 mid-day to 2.00pm
