Past Programme: Legends in the Landscape -  Summer Schools Programme

With an eye on the summer school trip market, the Museum has developed an innovative schools programme based on the Legends exhibition. Running from 26 May to the 20 June 2008 inclusive, this special programme will enable school children to enjoy the exhibition and then engage in two interactive sessions.

One session based in the Museum's Learning Zone will be led by local artist, Louise O'Boyle who will assist the children to make their own puppet based on one of the characters in the exhibition. The other session held in the studio theatre, led by storyteller, Kate Murphy, will give children the opportunity to hear more tall tales. The stories will be action packed and children will be encouraged to participate in their telling.

The 'Legends' school programme is being supported through generous grant aid from the Northern Ireland Museums Council.
