Past Exhibition: Stitching and Unstitching the Troubles Exhibition

As part of the North East PEACE III Partnership's Cultural Fusions project, Stitching and unstitching The Troubles explores the multi-layered impact of local and international conflict through textile artworks known as arpilleras.

Also on display are wall hangings and quilts, some of which have recently been created by local participants who wished to “embroider what could not be told in words” regarding the impact and legacy of the Troubles in their community.  This exhibition is curated by Roberta Bacic and delivered by Causeway Museum Service with Mid-Antrim Museum Service.

Free admission.
