Past Exhibition: Ways of Seeing: A Sense of Place

An exhibition of artworks depicting the historic environment in Mid-Antrim.

A touring exhibition highlighting the development and delivery of the Mid Antrim Museum Service community engagement initiative. The exhibition is twofold, showing art works principally from the 19th and 20th century’s from the MAMS collections on the theme of built heritage and the ‘sense of place’ evoked within community groups through engagement with these works. The community engagement, statistics, achievements and contributions will all be outlined with an overview of the project aims, objectives, outcomes and outputs.

Carrickfergus Museum & Civic Centre / 5 Sep-10 Oct / Mon-Sat: 10am-3pm

Larne Museum & Arts Centre / 19 Oct-21 Nov / Mon-Sat: 10am-3pm

Mid-Antrim Museum, Ballymena / 10 Dec-6 Feb / Mon-Sat: 10am-3pm

Museum at the Mill, Newtownabbey / 4-26 Mar 2016 / Mon-Fri: 10am-5pm, Sat: 11am-4pm

Free admission.
