Holocaust Memorial Day (27th January) remembers victims and survivors of the Holocaust. This years theme is 'Keep The Memory Alive'.
To mark Holocaust Memorial Day 2015 the museum will show the locally produced film ‘Looking Back, Looking Forward’ which documents the journeys of nine school children as they look into the future through the window of the past. It examines a local connection to an international event, looking at the lessons learnt from the Holocaust to consider ways of creating a more inclusive society in Northern Ireland today.
Free 'About HMD' booklets are available to take away and an information panel, explaining the purpose of Holocaust Memorial Day, will also be on display.
