Past Exhibition: A Sense of the Past Touring Exhibition

'A Sense of the Past' presents insights into the social history of blindness in Northern Ireland from 1800, through wartime, right up to present day.

This unique exhibition has been developed by the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) as part of a Heritage Lottery funded project and has had a wealth of input from members of the blind and partially sighted community in Northern Ireland.  The exhibition utilises the 'Pen Friend', an accessible media tool to allow blind and partially sighted visitors to listen to a narrative of information contained on the display panels.

A Sense of the Past in on display in the Museum Atrium from 3 June until 31 July.

Admission is free.
