Set aside the stress of shopping for the latest Wii and step back in time to enjoy this festive exhibition exploring the world of toys that entertained children in generations past.
Inspired by the festive season, Mid-Antrim Museum at The Braid has created an exhibition celebrating vintage toys from the 1950s on loan from a local collector. Entitled ‘No Batteries Required’, the exhibition features toys which will attract and entice children as well as promote nostalgia amongst the older generation.
Kevin Timoney is a Ballymena toy enthusiast who has been avidly collecting Tri-Ang and MOBO toys for over twenty years. The exhibition contains a classic Tri-Ang tractor and pedal cars from his collection as well as charming MOBO Bronco horses.
