Craft Northern Ireland and the Crafts Council of Ireland have designated 2011 as Year of Craft.
During the month of August The Braid Museum and ArtS Centre will be celebrating this through a variety of events.
COUNTY ANTRIM CRAFT EXHIBITION
This exhibition, on show in the Cafe Foyer, will showcase the very best of craft in County Antrim. It runs from 1 August - 8 September.
CRAFT DEMONSTRATION DAY
On Saturday 20 August visitors will be able to drop into The Braid from 2-4pm and view craft makers creating unique pieces from a variety of materials, speak to them about their craft and maybe even have a go themselves!
