Past Exhibition: Divine Inspiration- Remarkable books and prints

In the sesquicentennial year of the 1859 Ulster Revival, this exhibition highlights how remarkable objects reflect faith both locally and globally.

The Mid-Antrim Museum has augmented material from its own collection with items on loan from the Chester Beatty Library in Dublin, which holds one of the world's most impressive collection of rare books and manuscripts from across different world faiths.

The exhibition features exceptional, beautiful and rare manuscripts and other faith-related objects from a diverse range of world faiths including Christianity, Judaism, Islam and Hinduism.  A highlight of the exhibition includes a hand-written Bible from the 1859 Revival.
